Throughout the 10 book series, Yusupov guides the reader towards a higher chess understanding using carefully selected positions and advice. To make sure that this new knowledge sticks, it is then tested by a selection of puzzles. The various topics – Tactics, Strategy, Positional Play, the Endgame, Calculating Variations, Openings and so on – are spread evenly over the ten volumes, giving the readers the chance to improve every area as they work through the books. Mastery (also known as ‘the green books’) is the third level in Yusupov’s 3 levels, and builds on the material introduced in the Fundamentals and Beyond the basics books from the first and second levels.

Yusupov Boost Your Chess: Mastery 3 is the second book in Yusupov’s Mastery series, continuing on from the material covered in the first book.
Chess Evolution: Mastery 3 is the third and final book in the level 3, Mastery series.
